On August 28, 2009, the NYCC presented an outreach concert at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale, the Bronx.

Everything went well yesterday, and the residents seemed to enjoy the event. Natalia [Medvedovskaya] performed beautifully, and John [de Clef Pineiro] explained everything very clearly and enthusiastically. Mr. [Eugene] McBride's appearance added an extra touch to the evening's success.
