New York Composers Circle to Present A Concert Of New Music At Manhattan's Church Of The Transfiguration

In recognition of the loss of Raoul Pleskow (1930-2022), long time composer-member of NYCC, Craig Ketter will perform Souvenir, which the composer dedicated to him. May. 26, 2022 

New York Composers Circle will present a Concert of New Music on Tuesday, June 14 at 7:00 PM at Church of the Transfiguration ("Little Church Around the Corner"), 1 East 29th Street in Manhattan.

In recognition of the recent loss of Raoul Pleskow (1930-2022), long time composer-member of NYCC, Craig Ketter will perform Souvenir, which the composer dedicated to him. The program will also feature Cheng Jin Koh's Ecstasy (Winner of the 2019 John EatonMemorial Competition), Christopher Kaufman's Nocturnal Phantasy for clarinet and piano, Timothy L. Miller's String Quartet No.3: "l'Ode au Vermont", Jeffrey Niederhoffer's Askew, But Not Amiss for alto saxophone solo and Carl Kanter's String Quartet 2021.

Performers will be Daniel Ketter, clarinet, Olivia Moaddel, violin, Mark Serkin, cello, Craig Ketter, piano, Anthony Izzo, alto saxophone and the Klang String Quartet.
