Dear friends,
Before my father passed away in October 2021, he was embarking on a recording deal with Parma Recordings. I promised him that I would continue his legacy and help him get his music out into the world for people to hear. I am pleased to let you know of some exciting news.
First, this past April, his piano piece "Variations on a Theme of Beethoven" (which I believe was his favorite of all of the pieces he composed) was compiled in an album along with other composers, and released. Learn more about the album here: https://www.navonarecords.com/catalog/nv6413/
Second, it is an honor to announce that my father's "Variations on a Theme of Beethoven" will be played live at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) on June 24th. I am sad he is not here to see and hear his music in such a prestigious and important concert venue, but he knew of this plan before he died, and I am so very proud of him. See here for tickets: https://www.carnegiehall.org/Calendar/2022/06/24/Anna-Kislitsyna-Piano-0800PM
And lastly, another piece of his, "Variations for a Rainy Afternoon" was just released in an album on May 27th. My father sketched out this piece on a rainy afternoon some twenty years ago.
I hope you all have a chance to find a way to listen to his music.
Thanks so much, and please stay in touch,
Naomi Goodman
