Note:
Sunday June 30th is also the day of the Gay Pride March. The route begins at 26th & 5th, goes downtown and swings back up 7th Ave, ending at 23rd. This is all sufficiently close to the salon location (7th btwn 28th & 29th) that there may be closures of streets and certain subways in the vicinity. The best bet is to get to Penn Station by subway or train and walk down the few blocks from there.
