Dear members,

We have just received the work that Jacob's Goodman's wife, Josy, has passed away.  There was an obituary in last Sunday's New York Times (March 3), which I found and was able to scan and attach to this message.  She was a lovely presence at our concerts, and I remember the many times she welcomed us into their home for salons and other meetings, and always graciously served refreshments afterwards.  We have missed her at our events since she and Jacob moved to California, and now she will be missed by everyone.  On behalf of our entire organization, I would like to express our condolences to Jacob during this period of his grief.
