The Long Island Composers Alliance (LICA) presents a concert of wind and percussion music composed by its members.

The eclectic program includes Soliloquya short meditative work for solo flute by Richard Brooks, Herbert Deutsch’s Passageways for Marimba and Flutewhich focuses on the "intellectual" discussion between two master musicians on totally different musical instruments, several selections from Jane Leslie’s forthcoming album Starlight Reflections, Julie Mandel’s jazz piece, Every Monday, George Cork Maul’s commentary on what it means to live on the Long Island Expressway, The Human Raceas well as Dana Richardson’s Theme and Variations for flute and piano, the Serenade for Alto Saxophone, Percussion and Marimba by Marga Richter, which features a plaintive Peruvian inspired melody and Herbert Rothgarber’s Wayfarer Fantasy Suitebased on a poem by the composer.
