Brian Fennelly writes in with some unusual news.

"On May 31st at my undergrad alma mater, Union College (Schenectady, NY), in a ceremony at the campus Wold Center I received the 2013 Union College Outstanding Engineering Alumnus Award. My initial degree from Union was in Mechanical Engineering, but this was still quite a surprise for a composer!"
