The Romanian Cultural Institute of New York has highlighted the Feb. 5, 2012 concert of the New York Composers Circle, a concert in memory of Dinu Ghezzo. The web site says:

The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York is pleased to announce that on February 5, at 3 pm, The New York Composers Circle will pay tribute to the memory of one of the most significant and esteemed Romanian Composers in the U.S., Dinu Ghezzo.One of his last works will be presented in American premiere as a special moment in the NYCC's concert at the Saint Mark's in the Bowery.

Clarinettist Esther Lamneck, a long time NYU colleague and friend of the Romanian musician, will premiere a new solo composition written for her by Dinu Ghezzo, "Wild Flower for Clarinet".
